PLACELAB Development™ offers construction management and construction supervision for homes and small commercial buildings across the Texas Triangle (Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston) and in Birmingham, Alabama. We are a young company. Our leadership brings nine-plus years on schools, healthcare, civic, and multifamily projects. Once a contract is signed, we put together the right team for that job.

02 · Scope of services

What we can manage.

Every project is scoped in writing. The final scope, schedule, and fee are set in the contract, in line with standard practice for construction managers.

Construction Supervision

We visit the site, review work in progress against the drawings and specs, and flag issues for correction.

Schedule Oversight

We help set the project schedule, sequence trades, and track milestones with regular updates to the owner.

Budget Review

We review pay applications and change orders against the contract so the owner knows where the money goes.

Trade Coordination

We help bid and select licensed subcontractors and coordinate their work on site.

Performance Checks

We check the details that drive energy performance: wall assemblies, mechanical systems, and solar installs.

Permits and Close-Out

We track permits, city inspections, punch lists, and warranty documents through final sign-off.
